Chadwick Boseman surprises Black Panther fans while they say what the movie means to them.

blackinmotionpictures:

“I started out as a writer and a director. I started acting because I wanted to know how to relate to the actors. When people ask me what I do, I don’t really say that I’m an actor, because actors often wait for someone to give them roles.”

yall .. i’ve been fundraising my struggle for 3 years. i am SO close to goal. PLEASE signal boost this & help me out, PLEASE!

my 2 y/o son and i have been living in hotels on and off since i was evicted … with me unable to work due to not having a vehicle or support system, my funds are draining quickly. ive applied for housing assistance but with an eviction, its not much they can do. also filing as indigent for divorce. im doing what i can to provide for my son, and i know a lot of people have it far worse than i do, but this battle with cancer, the court system and working is wearing me thin. PLEASE, if you have a heart, signal boost this. im nearly at my goal and anything could help. please, man. im at my wits end and i dont know where else to turn.

michonnegrimes:

The world has no right to my heart, the world has no place in our bed
They don’t get to know what I said
I’m burning the memories, burning the letters that might have redeemed you
You forfeit all rights to my heart, you forfeit the place in our bed
You sleep in your office instead with only the memories of when you were mine
I hope that you burn

“The systemic racism within our industry is in direct correlation to the systemic racism in our country. I am excited about the willingness we’re seeing right now to have tough conversations and the willingness to dive into investigating solutions for these issues. But I also don’t expect these solutions to happen in my lifetime, because they go much deeper than we all even realize. I’m really focusing on after this moment, because there’s only before this moment and after this moment. And I’m not going back to that.” ADRIENNE WARREN for Backstage

“Some of them say that we’re sick, we’re crazy, and some of them think that we are the most gorgeous, special things on earth.”
